Appraisal

I am a director of a number of companies, two of which Simon Player has provided
work for.

I first engaged with Simon when I was running a formal procurement process for a
large piece of database design and web development. Simon was an individual
competing against eight companies that received our RFP and who went through the
process with us. He stood out from the start, beating companies with far more
resource than he had. He consistently demonstrated his experience, skill, intelligence
and conscientiousness throughout that process. Did he measure up on winning the
business? Absolutely. He not only delivered on time and on budget but I have no
doubt in my mind that he drastically improved the end result. He very quickly grasps
ideas and concepts and can move them on, taking in or developing ideas in
directions that we hadn’t thought of. His output was always of a very high quality and
error free. He is very easy to work with as he has excellent communications skills,
often rare in people with strong IT skills, a pleasant manner, maintains good will at all
times and absolutely delivers on what he says he will.

I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him. He is a rare find.
